Nintendo to Partner With Loot Crate to Distribute Amiibo in a Creative New Way

on November 10, 2014 8:56 AM

Nintendo announced a partnership with online delivery service Loot Crate to deliver Amiibo to fans in an easy and creative way this holiday season.

By signing up for an “Amiibo Subscription Service,” subscribers will receive 10 pre-selected Amiibo (including Mario, Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Fox and Yoshi) separated into three special Loot Crate shipments throughout the holiday season, delivered right to their door. By joining the subscription service, Loot Crate guarantees the 10 pre-selected figures. The other five pre-selected characters will be revealed through Loot Crate soon.

The service was designed to make it easy for fans to purchase the figurines without worrying about online stock from other online retailers, or having to rush to physical retailers hoping that the Amiibo you want isn’t out of stock. Right now you can visit Loot Crate and join the waitlist by simply entering your email address.

Nintendo and Loot Crate also have a few additional surprises in store for Super Smash Bros. and Amiibo fans to be announced at a later date.
