Nintendo’s line of NFC-enable figurines, the amiibo, have been a sky-rocketing success since their debut alongside Super Smash Bros. for Wii U back in November of last year, leading to price hikes and more on some of the more rare figurines – it seems though that Nintendo may have new figurines on the way for the true collectors.

Discovered on Nintendo’s website by NeoGAF user KTS2448, two pages were uncovered showing product certificates for gold and silver variant editions of Nintendo’s amiibo figurines. Specifically, the pages spotted each showed variants of the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Mario figurine – though both pages of the site are now taken down, screenshots were grabbed listing certificate dates of February 3rd, 2015, with manufacture dates posted in December 2014/January 2015.

Wave 3 of Nintendo’s amiibo figurines are available now, with Wave 4 set to release in Spring 2015 – stay tuned for more information on when/if the variant amiibo figurines will be hitting stores soon (and to get your wallets ready).
