on December 1, 2015 12:44 PM

The first details on Nintendo’s new account system, simply called My Nintendo Account, were revealed just a short while ago at an investor’s meeting, but the registration system has now gone live in Japan. This new system is the follow-up to Club Nintendo and will link player’s purchases across systems and make it easier to access and control various aspects of a user’s profile across mobile and web browsers.

There is currently no word on when registration will go live for other regions around the world.
