Nippon Ichi Announces Two PS Vita Exclusive JRPGs: Disgaea 4 Return and Criminals Girl INVITATION

During a 20th anniversary live event in held in Yokohama the historical JRPG developer and publisher Nippon Ichi Software just announced two new PS Vita exclusive games: Disgaea 4 Return and  Criminal Girls INVITATION. The second is a working title and therefore not final.

The Vita remake of  Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten will be released in January 2014, while Criminal Girls INVITATION (that is probably a port of the 2010 PSP Title Criminal Girls that was never released in English) will hit the Japanese shelves this winter. Incidentally this would be the perfect chance to bring Criminal Girls to the west, especially considering how Nippon Ichi is localizing basically everything as of late.

A “10th Anniversary Asagi Project” has also been mentioned as being in the planning stages and will be revealed at a later date. Considering that the 10th anniversary of the first appearance of Asagi (in Makai Kingdom, released in March 2005) will happen in 2015, that’s probably still a ways off.

Below you can see the logos of the two games announced today.
