No Man's Sky developer Hello Games has announced that it has launched a new funding initiative called Hello Labs, which will support other small developers who are creating games that utilize procedural generation or that are "experimental focused."

The word came via Sean Murray who shared the news yesterday during his presentation at GDC titled ""Building Worlds Using Math(s)." Murray further revealed that Hello Labs will provide both funding and support to one or two projects at any given time, and that one project is already in active development.

Further details about Hello Labs will be shared in the future.

Additionally, during the talk, Murray mentioned that him and Hello Games have been busy working on a current update for No Man's Sky.
