Norman Reedus Gives Update on Silent Hills, Says Kojima and del Toro “Haven’t Shot the Heavy Stuff Yet”

Since its mysterious and surprising reveal back in August with the nightmare-inducing P.T., few details on Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro’s Silent Hills have been revealed other than the collaboration between the two alongside The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus, though some sly details have come out from Reedus online via Reddit.

Speaking in a brief Reddit AMA, Reedus took to Reddit to answer fan questions, and while speaking on his rising film career and The Walking Dead, Reedus also revealed a few details about Konami’s upcoming Silent Hills. While obviously Reedus couldn’t say too much given Kojima’s secretive nature, Reedus did mention in comments through the AMA:

“I’m super excited to be a part of [Silent Hills]. Both [Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro] are geniuses at what they do. We haven’t shot the heavy stuff yet.”

Given the already intense horrors that were at hand in P.T., Reedus’ comments show that the best (or worst…) seems yet to come with the full horrors of Silent Hills.

Silent Hills is currently in development for PS4 by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro.
