Today the NPD released its monthly sales chart for the United States, with Battlefield 1 taking the top, followed by Mafia III and Gears of War 4, with (as we already knew) the Xbox One pushing to the top again in the month of October for the fourth month in a row.

We also learn that Xbox One unit sales grew by 8% year-on-year, and the 3DS also had its fifth straight month of year-on-year growth. The new CUH-2000 PS4 bundle with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was the best selling individual SKU, accounting for a whopping 17% of all hardware units sold in the US.
