The indie studio that brought us Myst has already released its new sci-fi adventure title Obduction on PC for the Oculus Rift, but developer Cyan is still hard at work on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, and HTC Vive versions of the game. Today, the team released a new trailer for the PlayStation 4 version, featuring a few accolades and some truly gorgeous environments.

The trailer, which is provided below, is quite short (it only runs 37 seconds), but it’s packed with visuals realized through PlayStation VR technology.

In Obduction, you walk across an alien landscape that holds inexplicable scatterings of Earth. As one who has been abducted and brought to this place by some strange artifact, it becomes up to you to understand this new world’s secrets, exploring its vast environments, coaxing out its truths, and making choices with consequences that will soon reveal themselves.

Cyan’s CEO Rand Miller recently expressed his excitement in bringing Obduction to console, noting that “PlayStation breaks open our availability as a much broader platform for us,” and that he has been “amazed at how good this looks on a console.”

Obduction is currently available for PC and Oculus Rift. It’s PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, and Vive versions are expected to release sometime later in 2017. For more information on the game, you are encouraged to check out the game’s official website.
