If you want to play a funny game that will have you in tears, you need to get a hold of the Oddworld series. I can sit here and honestly say that the game has made me cry tears of laughter repeatedly throughout my years of gaming. Hell, till this day I still try to get it in when I get a chance. And if you haven’t played this brilliant series, you will have your chance to do so this Thursday as both Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysey and Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus are making their way to the PlayStation Store’s PSOne Classics section (finally!) this Thursday. Announcing the game’s PSN debut was series creator Lorne Lanning on the PlayStation Blog, who also went into detail a bit about the game’s background and niftyness.

Abe is probably one of the most intriguing characters that I’ve come across in my years of gaming. Guaranteed, this zombie slash Beetlejuice looking dude will leave an imprint in your minds of just how cleverly well-put the series and characters are. The games will be avaiable for $9.99; kind of expensive, if you ask me. But, this is something that I’d definitely pay – as should you – to marinate my mind once more in one of the funniest and greatest series to grace console gaming. Now, only if they brought us Oddworld: Munch’s OddyseeThat was a hilarious game, folks.
