Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty! presents the long-awaited remake of the PSone classic Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, and although the title will be arriving for PlayStation consoles first, those looking forward to the game on Xbox One will be able to look forward to the game as an upcoming indie title.

New ‘n’ Tasty! publisher Oddworld Inhabitants have announced that the upcoming remake will be releasing through Microsoft’s ID@Xbox program, allowing the title to be self-published and released to Xbox One owners by the publisher themselves. The title will not however be releasing on Xbox 360, as the ID@Xbox program currently only applies to Xbox One, as creator Lorne Lanning mentions that the title will be released “before the end of the year” once it has been released through Steam and on PS consoles.

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty! will be releasing for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita on July 22nd, 2014, and will also come to PC, Mac, Linux, Wii U, and Xbox One later in 2014.
