The development team behind the critically-acclaimed Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty revealed the release date for Steam, PS3 and Xbox One versions of the PS4 remade Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee.

New ‘n’ Tasty will be releasing for Windows, Mac and Linux on Steam (with other storefronts to be announced) on February 25th, while the Xbox One and PS3 versions are planned for release shortly after, in early March 2015.

These versions will also feature all the post-launch improvements and tweaks that the PS4 version received, including QuikSave and QuikLoad functions, achievements and online leaderboards for speedrunners, and cloud saves on Steam.

Prices for the game will be $20 / £15 / €20, with a further 10% discount on pre-purchases. Meanwhile, Wii U and PS Vita versions are still being developed at this time.

According to the post: "Converting our bespoke code, physics, highly detailed art assets and complex audio engines for the two formats from the PlayStation 4 and PC base continues to present engineering challenges relating to performance and memory, but recent progress is encouraging as we strive to make every iteration of New ‘n’ Tasty the perfect fit for the platform."

More information on the remaining versions will be released soon.
