Ono Breaks the Silence around the 12 New Street Fighter X Tekken Chracters for Console Versions

on February 23, 2012 9:00 PM

Ever since Capcom revealed a whole dozen new characters for the PS Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken, fans have been wondering whether or not the characters would make it to the full fledged console version of the title. Producer Yoshinori Ono took to Twitter today to address our concerns. He doesn’t confirm or deny the inclusion of the characters, but instead kindly asks fans to wait for more details.

I’m convinced that the characters will be in the console version; 12 ┬ácharacters is simply far too many to exclude from the legitimate console version of what is arguably the year’s biggest fighter. What I am concerned with is whether or not the characters will be sold as DLC characters, because that could be very pricey. We don’t have long to wait, because Street Fighter X Tekken will be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 6th.
