Prideful Sloth announced today that their upcoming open-world adventure game Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles will be releasing on PC and PS4 on July 18, 2017.

The veteran team comprised of former Rocksteady developers and an Activision producer, Prideful Sloth is a fairly new development studio with Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles being their first game officially to launch as a studio.

Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles will feature 8 colorful and vibrant environments, with each location offering its own wildlife and ecosystem, ranging from sunny sandy beaches to rolling grassy plains and steep snow-capped mountains. This should make for some unique gameplay experiences as you traverse throughout your journey.

The game will also feature crafting, cooking, fishing, farming, brewing and more, which will be used to help the local residents of Gemea restore order to their beloved town. Building relationships with the local residents and performing quests are going to play a big role in saving Gemea from a certain impending doom.

Cheryl Vance, co-founder and lead designer at Prideful Sloth had this to say regarding Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles:

"Yonder's gorgeous and immersive fantasy world will send players on an epic quest to revitalize a troubled land. With an inviting atmosphere, a massive open-world to explore and a wealth of mystery, Yonder will provide countless hours of entertainment."
