Origin Offers 90 Days of Free Publishing to Any Crowd Funded Game Starting With Wasteland 2

Crowd funded games are all the rage these days with games funded through Kickstarter being the obvious forerunners of this movement, and the big kids are starting to take notice. To that effect EA has announced that they’ll be offering 90 days of free publishing for any crowd funded game through their Origin service. This obviously applies to Kickstarter games though other options will be accepted as well.

Plans are already in motion for this service with the Kickstarter funded Wasteland 2┬ábeing the first game to take them up on this offer. If you’re interested in getting your crowd funded game sold through the service just check out the Origin Publishing page. It’ll be interesting to see how things develop in this front.

He's a huge comic nerd in the best sense of the term, with a particular love for the Creator Owned movement.
