As one of the big multiplayer titles of last year to be making its debut on the new consoles, Battlefield 4 became one of the big hits to ring in the new generation: aside from a wide range of technical issues. However, for those that may have missed out on the action when the game debuted last year, EA's Origin is bringing PC players a taste of the game right now, for a limited time.

Origin's "Game Time" program has returned, after previously offering a weekend-long trial of Titanfall earlier this year, by bringing users of the service a one week free trial of Battlefield 4, which is available from now until next Thursday, August 14th, 2014. Unlike the platform's "On the House" program that selects a monthly title that users can keep indefinitely, Game Time allows players to download a selected title (usually multiplayer games) for a limited amount of time. Once a player downloads and starts the game for the first time, their timer counts down for the specified amount of time until the game is no longer available to play.

Battlefield 4 is available now for players to try the one week free trial, which you can download through Origin here: the Game Time promotion for Battlefield 4 is running until August 14th, 2014.
