Today, publisher Bigben Interactive and developer Appeal Studio released the debut trailer for Outcast: Second Contact. In addition to releasing the debut trailer, the pair also announced the game, which was originally supposed to launch this month, has been delayed to the Fall.

For those that don't know: Outcast: Second Contact is the full remake of the 1999 PC action adventure game Outcast, released by the same studio. At the time of its release, Outcast was critically acclaimed and quite successful. In 2001, developer Appeal developed a sequel, called Outcast II: The Lost Paradise, which never was finished or released due to bankruptcy issues. In 2014,  Appeal required the franchise rights and took to Kickstarter looking for funds to remake the first game. The Kickstarter was unsuccessful. However, Appeal went on to strike a deal with publisher Bigben Interactive, and the remake was greenlighted.
