Ouya is calling developers to work on getting their games up as soon as possible to make the launch of the console on March 28th. As a special promotion, the top three games based on time spent playing them will be featured in a short series of developer documentaries. This is a great chance for gamers to take a look behind the process that goes behind making some of these indie games.
These documentaries will be shown to gamers as part of their marketing campaign to raise awareness of the system starting in June all the way through the holidays. Gamers planning on picking up and Ouya may want to support their favorite games and developers by putting the time into their games.
Ouya will be making its way into the hands of backers on March 28th followed by those that pre-ordered the device on their site in April and a retail release in June. The system will retail for $99 and caused a huge amount of waves through its Kickstarter campaign. Gamers will want to keep an eye on this machine when it makes waves in just a few short weeks.
