The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has today revealed a few new speakers to present at the upcoming D.I.C.E. 2017 event.

These include Game Director on the hit multiplatform FPS Overwatch, Blizzard Entertainment's Jeff Kaplan, who will deliver the opening keynote at the conference. Jeff also worked as Game Director on World of Warcraft, one of the biggest and best known MMOs of all time.

More speakers were confirmed in the announcement:

  •  Graeme Devine – Magic Leap's Chief Game Wizard, Graeme is responsible for defining the vision and leading Magic Leap's Mixed Reality gaming universe. In his D.I.C.E. session, “Into the Future,” Devine will discuss how Mixed Reality will change our lives in the future and how we can create compelling gaming content that propels us forward - that enhances our lives through the Mixed Reality universe.

  • Ted Price, CEO and Founder, Insomniac Games – Price will be joining Jason Rubin, head of content at Oculus for a fireside chat - “Jason and Ted’s Excellent VR Panel” - where they discuss their takeaways from the first year of widely available VR content and what the future of VR gaming holds.

  •  Bill Rosemann, Creative Director, Marvel Games – Rosemann will be discussing “World Building the Marvel Way” and reveal how The House of Ideas not only crafts fictional realms, but also strives to shape the world around us.

New leaders for the round table segment of the conference have also been revealed and include:

Alan Abdine, SVP of Business Development at Roosterteeth; Alexander Fernandez, Streamline Studios; Todd Hooper, CEO and Founder of VREAL; Patric Palm, Chair and CEO of Hansoft; Gus Sorola, Co-Founder at Roosterteeth; Attila Szantner, Founder & CEO of Massively Multiplayer Online Science; and Feargus Urquhart, CEO of Obsidian Entertainment.

Since 2002, the D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit has provided a forum for industry creatives and executives to exchange and explore " approaches to the creative process and artistic expression as they uniquely apply to the development of interactive entertainment. "

D.I.C.E. 2017 will occur from February 21st to the 23rd at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Delano, Las Vegas.
