Today Blizzard Entertainment announced that the Game of the Year Edition of its game Overwatch will be coming to retail stores on July 28th, 2017.

The Game of the Year Edition comes with ten free in-game loot boxes; additional skins for Reaper, Bastion, Pharah, and Tracer; Mercy's wings for use in Diablo III, a new pet in World of Warcraft, Tracer for use in Heroes of the Storm, and an Overwatch-themed card backing in Hearthstone.

Back in May, evidence of the Game of the Year Edition surfaced thanks to an Xbox Store datamine. A few days later it was officially revealed.

In other Overwatch news, at the beginning of this month it was revealed the long anticipated character Doomfist would be coming to Overwatch's Public Test Realm, which allows players on PC to test out new features for the game before they are available for everyone else. A few days ago it was announced that Doomfist would be available to everyone, on all consoles starting July 28th, 2017. Speaking of the Public Test Realm, it recently got an update, which included changes to Zarya, Doomfist, and more.

Overwatch was originally released on May 24th, 2016 and is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
