Overwatch has been in the hearts and minds of players since its release last year, and Blizzard Entertainment is making sure to thank the fans in a new video that highlights the game's first year and the incredible community it has built.

Blizzard Entertainment has released a new video highlighting the first year of Overwatch on the eve of the game's first anniversary, with the video showcasing the game's numerous accomplishments, such as its release, the Overwatch League, and more, while taking most of the time to thank the fans that have supported the game and gotten it to be the sensation that it is today.

This, of course, comes alongside the numerous plans that Blizzard has to celebrate the game's anniversary as announced today, which includes a new seasonal event that kicks off next week, a Game of the Year Edition of the title, and a free weekend across consoles and PC that will be sure to drive new players to the game and expand its already quite expansive community.
