Papers, Please has arguably pulled off an upset at this year’s BAFTA Game Awards, taking home the award for best Strategy & Simulation game, edging out contenders such as Surgeon Simulator 2013, Civilization V: Brave New World, and XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

Since its release, the game has enjoyed a wealth of positive critical acclaim in addition to plentiful sales. Ports for Mac and PS Vita have both been given serious consideration.
