Today, tinyBuild Games revealed that they have partnered with Ice-Pick Lodge to publish the newest game in the Pathologic horror game series, Pathologic 2. The title is a open-world survival horror re-imagining of the original Pathologic made by its original developers, and the game got a five minute gameplay trailer today.

The game's world is being torn apart by a horrible plague, and the player is their town's cheif medic. Throughout the course of the game, the player must avenge the death of their father, find their twin sister, and scavenge to stay healthy and survive the unbearable plague. All of this will happen over the course over the course of only twelve days.

tinyBuild also confirmed that anyone who backed the game's KickStarter will still be getting their backer rewards, even though they have come on as a publisher. That being said, they are also making the game's development much more open-ended. The game will be playable for the public at PAX West this weekend, and will subsequently release that build to backers after the event. Afterwards, the developers will also distributing subsequent alpha builds of the game to the public in order to get feedback on the game from players.
