Over the past few months, developer 10 Chambers Collective has released cryptic photos and videos on its Facebook page, teasing their next game. Now, we get the official announcement that the game is titled GTFO.

The title is officially described as a 4-player hardcore co-op action horror first-person shooter, where players will experience large scale, edge-of-your-seat suspense, and frantic action.

To celebrate the announcement, the developer also released the first trailer for the game. The trailer starts by showing some quick flashes of a large hole, extending deep into the ground. After a few moments, a rope starts swinging violently within the hole. Then, suddenly, what appears to be an elevator with a bright red light rapidly descends down the rope, highlighting just how deep it is. The logo is then revealed, along with the tagline Work Together Or Die Together.

You can check out some screenshots for the new title, as well as the announcement trailer, at the end of this article.

As of the time of this writing, there is no release date for the title, however the developer did say that it will be revealed before the end of the year.

In addition to the lack of release date, it's unknown what systems the title will be launching on.

10 Chambers Collective is comprised of former members of Overkill Software, the developers behind the Payday franchise, including the Game Designer of the hit series. GTFO will be the first title from the independent developer. Simon Viklund, one of the co-founders of Overkill Software, will be composing the entire soundtrack for the game. One of the tracks, The Complex, was released before the announcement. You can find it at the article as well.
