Eidos Montreal's reboot of the long-running Thief franchise is nearly here, and luckily the PC system requirements have now been released so you can start preparing to tune your system up to its requirements.

Released on Eidos Montreal's community blog, the system specifications for running Thief on PC are as follows:

Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows Vista with platform update
  • CPU: High-performance dual core CPU or quad core CPU
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • Graphics Card: AMD Radeon 4800 series / Nvidia GTS 250
  • DirectX: DirectX 10
  • HDD/SSD: 20 GB

Recommended Specs

  • OS: Windows 7 or 8
  • CPU: AMD FX 8000 series or better / Intel i7 Quad Core CPU
  • RAM: 4+ GB
  • Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R9 series or better / Nvidia GTX 660 series or better
  • DirectX: DirectX 11
  • HDD/SSD: 20 GB

In addition, Thief is available as part of AMD's "Never Settle Forever" promotion, where players can get a free copy of the game with the purchase of a new graphics card. The page also details the Master Thief Edition, which includes bonus content such as an art book, the game's soundtrack, and an included pack of items for in-game use.

Thief releases on February 25th for PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360.
