Persona 4 Arena Japanese Cover Released

Fans of the Persona franchise and the wonderful art that accompanies it will be excited to know that Atlus has released an image of the cover art for Persona 4: The Ultimate Mayonaka Arena or as it will be know in North America as Persona 4 Arena.

Persona 4 Arena has players taking control of their favorite characters from Persona 4 in the first ever fighting game for the series. The game’s story takes place many months after the conclusion of the original game. Persona 4 Arena will have players take control of the main characters from Persona 4 and some returning characters from Persona 3, including Aigis, Akihiko, Mitsuru, and Elizabeth.

Fans of the series will enjoy the deep story mode that features a storyline for each of the playable characters in the game. The gameplay is being handled by Arc System Works, creators of BlazBlu, and the team at Atlus will handle duties on the story of the game. Persona 4 Arena is part of the Persona canon giving insight to what has happened with characters from both Persona 3 and Persona 4.

The game is a must have for fans of the series and it hits store shelves this summer for PS3 and Xbox 360.
