Today Atlus announced that it will celebrate Persona 5's recently received Gold Prize PlayStation Award (for selling over 500,0000 copies in Japan and Asia) with a sale on all DLC on the Japanese PlayStation Store, and a pack of free Christmas costumes.

The sale will start on December 21st at noon local time, and end on Christmas, December 25th, applying a 55% discount to all of the DLC of the game.

On December 21st the developer will also launch a free DLC featuring Christmas costumes for the game's phantom thieves. You can see it below.

Of course, the game shipped way more than 500,000 copies, as 550,000 shipments were announced back in September.

Unfortunately, western fans will miss Christmas, as the game was recently delayed to April 4th (not that it would have made it in time for Christmas before). Localizing the enormous script (which is 50% longer than that of Persona 4: Golden) is taking time.

Hopefully, we'll get the free Christmas DLC anyway. Ann certainly isn't my favorite Persona 5 waifu (that would obviously be Makoto), but I certainly appreciate that getup.
