Petition For Modern Warfare 2 Is Huge

PC gamers waiting for Modern Warfare 2 have had a little problem with Infinity Ward for the past couple of days due to some choices that were made with regards to “changes” for the upcoming title. The PC gaming community is pretty much pissed off to the point where they have taken their angered opinions and  politics to the internet in the form of the infamous petition in order to reasonably request that the developer “review their decision” regarding the game’s server hosting capabilities. Over 75,000 signatures have made their way to the petition since the announcement a couple of days ago. Pretty impressive, if you ask me.

Like console gamers now, PC gamers might have to endure the harsh world of P2P gaming which is known for lagging, cheating, and zero support from Infinity Ward, unless, of course, these petitions can persuade the developer to go the route of dedicated servers, which were what PC Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare players were used to. Will the petition change the minds of Infinity Ward? Maybe. But I can tell you that there will be some angry console gamers chanting how unfair it is if it does happen.
