Phil Spencer Comments on Microsoft Studios Closure; Info on Upcoming Games Coming in the Summer

Yesterday we heard the news about the closure of Press Play and the possible shuttering of Lionhead Studios, and today Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer took to Twitter to reassure the fans, pledging his commitment to first party development.

Spencer also commented on his recent praise of games on competing platforms, and on the fact that the recent announcements combined with gamers’ passion might have impacted his image:

Last, but not least, he promised information on upcoming games at the shows that will be held this summer, indicating that we can expect new goodies at E3 and Gamescom.
