Earlier today, Microsoft’s Xbox Division head Phil Spencer took time to respond to the fans on Twitter, talking about the situation of the Xbox brand this generation, and offering a few more comments on the industry as a whole.

First of all, Spencer expressed pride on the performance of the Xbox brand this generation, mentioning that Xbox One S has been strong since launch, and while there is always room for improvement, this is the best generation yet for the brand.

Following, he also expressed pretty much the same sentiment for Microsoft’s first party games:

He also mentioned that he understands that gamers want diversity in the line-up.

Spencer then broadened the spectrum, mentioning that good games shipping is good for the whole industry, mentioning Forza Horizon 3, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Civilization VI, Horizon: Zero Dawn and Overwatch. According to Spencer, they all make gaming better and should be celebrated.

Incidentally, he also mentioned that the upcoming console code named “Project Scorpio” will run fine on a 1080p TV.

Last, but not least, he explained that he is very proud of the new Co-Pilot feature, encouraging users to give feedback in order to keep improving on it.
