Today, Microsoft’s Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer took to Twitter to respond to questions from the fans, sharing more details on the upcoming Project Scorpio and giving his opinion on yesterday’s announcement of the PS4 Pro.

First of all, he mentioned that development teams are already developing for PC with higher specs, so they already have assets and engines ready to use Scorpio’s power.

He expects teams of games already shipped when Scorpio launches to use PC builds tuned for 6 teraFLOPS GPUs.

Spencer also mentioned that the company is going to be “very open” to teams wanting to upgrade their games for 4K and HDR.

The decision on whether to upgrade or not lays with the publishers, and Microsoft will support those willing.

Last, but not least, he mentioned that he liked yesterday’s event, where Sony announced the PS4 Pro, but he remains happy with Microsoft’s own plans.
