Phil Spencer Wants Xbox One to be “The Best Platform” for Core Gamers and Day one Customers

on June 9, 2014 11:21 AM

Just a few hours before the beginning of E3 Microsoft’s Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer was interrogated by Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb on what we can expect from Xbox One and from Microsoft’s press conference:

It’s been a good two months. The team is really engaged.

We’re focusing on our core gaming customers, the day one customers, making sure we have the best platform for those customers and the developers that build games for those customers. Let’s make sure we nail that focus. That’s priority number one, and it has really energized the whole Xbox team and studios, which has been nice to see.

Hyrb also mentioned that there are a couple of “cool things” that they told him they’re going to happen during the after-show following the conference, but he didn’t elaborate on what those are going to be.

Of course you can expect full coverage of Microsoft’s press briefing and of all the following conferences here on DualShockers.
