Phillies Pitcher to Grace Cover of MLB2K11

Pretty logical choice if you ask me. Roy Halladay was instrumental in bringing the Philadelphia Phillies to a world championship this year, including pitching an astounding no-hitter during the postseason. Halladay also looks to be a likely pick for the National League Cy Young Award, the winner of which will be announced tomorrow. As you could probably guess, 2K Sports is throwing their vote to Halladay.

“I’m honored to be on the cover of Major League Baseball 2K11,” said Halladay. “I’m not one for predictions, but should 2K Sports be right about tomorrow, well, that would be a great way to end the year.”

I admit that I don’t tend to follow National League baseball, but I definitely noticed Halladay this year. It’s a great choice by 2K, and he definitely deserves the Cy Young.
