Picotto Knights Is A Celebration of RPGs on the PS Vita, And Free

on December 4, 2012 10:09 PM

Perhaps most visually reminiscent of Castle Crashers, Picotto Knights is a beat ’em up RPG where players kills scores of enemies, gain experience, and can equip spell items and weapons. Besides the chibi character design, Picotto Knights also allows you to customize the look of your character, some costumes even borrowed from popular RPGs like Ragnarok Online and Grandia.

Check out the trailer below to get an idea of what Picotto Knights has to offer, with the Ragnarok costumes available December 06, 2012, and the Grandia costumes in development now.

Picotto Knights was released as a free download in Japan this last September. Gung Ho Online Entertainment are working on a localization of the title to be released next year in the West.

Born and raised in video games and "geek culture," Masoud has been bred off of fantasy worlds his entire life and doesn't see anything wrong with that. He loves RPGs (especially TRPGs), sandbox games, the sci-fi genre, dieselpunk, art deco, and anything that allows him to create. Having graduated from John Jay College with a degree in English and a minor in Creative Writing, Masoud hopes to one day pen the same novels, comics, movies, and video games he enjoys escaping into when the real world gets too boring.
