Now that Nintendo has jump started the next generation console race with their plans for the Wii U, it appears that other console makers aren’t too far behind. After reports that Microsoft would be unveiling their new hardware as early as next year’s E3, it appears that we could be expecting the same thing, if not earlier, from Sony. Component makers from Taiwan are reporting that not only will Sony’s next gene machine have “Kinect-like” motion capability, but that 20 million units will be ready for launch next year. Foxcon and Pegatron, the same factories who assembled the PS3 and Apple’s iPhone will also be the one’s handling the production of Sony’s next-gen console.
