PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Beta Announced for PS3 and Vita

Sony has announced that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Beta will kick off this week for PlayStation Plus members and on October 23 for everyone else on PS3. The PS Vita version of the game will be able to jump into the multiplayer beta starting tomorrow as well.

In the beta, players will be able to play as Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, PaRappa, and Fat Princess. There will be access to the four-player online tournaments and 2 v 2 online tournaments on two stages from the game, Metropolis and Hades. The beta will run until October 30 for gamers to get a chance at PlayStation’s take on Super Smash Bros.

Gamers will gain access to additional costumes when they pre-order the game and when the PlayStation 3 version of the game is bought the PS Vita version will be free as a download via Cross-Buy support.

Fans of PlayStation and games like Super Smash Bros. will want to keep an eye out for this game when it is released and pick up the PS3 version to get the Vita version free of charge.
