PlayStation Exclusive MLB 15: The Show Gets ESRB Rating: Reveals Returning Modes and More

on February 18, 2015 5:42 PM

Today the ESRB published the rating for MLB 15: The Show, which will release on March 31st for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. It goes without saying that it got a “E for Everyone” rating (apparently, they need sexier cheerleaders), and no descriptors.

On the other hand, the blurb reveal returning modes, that will sound familiar to MLB: The Show veterans:

This is a baseball simulation game in which players compete with Major League Baseball teams in a number of different modes (e.g., Franchise, Road To the Show, Home Run Derby). Players can adjust athlete’s power and precision while pitching or batting, and can initiate defensive strategies while fielding.

As usual, I’m looking forward to the game, even if I’m still rather surprised to see Sony sticking to a cross-generation model. I wonder how long they’ll keep supporting the PS3 for this kind of game.
