The first wave of PlayStation Now beta invites has just been sent by Sony Computer Entertainment America, as reported by NeoGAF user tokyostomp.

Looks like it's time to check your mail to see if you're one of the lucky testers invited for the first "private beta" of Sony's upcoming cloud gaming service.

According to the invitation, that you can see at the bottom of the post, in order to enjoy the best experience with the beta version of the service you'll need to have your PS3 connected to your router via ethernet cable and your internet connection will need to be 5mbps or faster. Apparently the beta is not available on PS4 for the moment.

If you received the coveted mail, you may also want to hold your horses before you scramble to post videos on the internet (unless you're sure you won't get caught, I guess), because participation to the testing involves signing a non disclosure agreement.

From what we could gather, the invitation has been sent to a small number of those that signed up for the PlayStation Now Newsletter, so if you want a chance to be invited to the following phases of the beta you may want to sign up yourself.
