PlayStation Now Beta Now Downloadable on PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV

Sony Computer Entertainment just made the PlayStation Now beta app available for download on PlayStation Vita and PlaySytation TV.

If you want to try out the service on Sony’s portable and on its TV-based spin-off, all you have to do is to open the PlayStation Store, and you’ll find it right at the top of the list.

Alternatively you can start your download on the web store here. The download is a meager 50 Mb.

While you can download the app, the service is currently undergoing maintenance, so you’ll have to wait a bit further in order to start playing.

We’ll have to see if PlayStation Now will get a better reception on PlayStation Vita, and Especially PlayStation TV, for which it seems to be a perfect fit.

Update: the service’s maintenance has just ended, and now the beta is fully accessible. Unfortunately no touch controls are available on the PlayStation Vita, so you’ll have to navigate the menus via the D-Pad and buttons.
