PlayStation console owners have a huge variety of online games to play thanks to the consoles' extensive library of games - luckily, for those that have yet to experience the benefits of PlayStation Plus, you'll get to experience the service for free for an entire week.

In an update on the PlayStation Blog, Sony has revealed that a one-week free trial of PlayStation Plus will be available to all PS4 owners, allowing users to try out any game's multiplayer offerings for free. The trial will officially be running from Friday, February 17 at 12:01am PT through Sunday, February 23 at 11:59pm PT, with "no membership commitment required" for users to enter the free trial, other than logging on to PSN.

While Sony has offered PlayStation Plus trials in the past, this trial marks one of the longest free trials yet with the service being available for an entire week, as opposed to a weekend or a few days. If you haven't signed up for a membership yet, this week definitely offers a great chance to try out PlayStation Plus first-hand and get in some time with great multiplayer games.
