PlayStation Plus Subscribers Have Free SEGA Genesis Collection Incoming

If you thought it was cool to pick up Stacking for free, putting your PlayStation Plus subscription to some use finally, wait until you get wind of this. The SEGA Genesis Collection is coming to the PlayStation Store, which, in and of itself, is pretty sweet news. However, PlayStation Plus subscribers will get all the titles FREE. That’s right, nothing extra, nada, ziltch, zero, nul. You’ll be able to download them well in advance of non-subscribers and they will remain free to download for one month. After that, the standard charge per title will be applied.

Wait, it gets even better. All these titles that many of us have grown up on will now have trophy support, so you’ll be able to play them again and earn trophies to show off. How’s that? Better? The fun starts on March 1st for PlayStation Plus subscribers, when they’ll be able to download Sonic the Hedgehog. Hit the break for a full list of titles, their free price availability and the price they’ll be for those who aren’t PlayStation Plus subscribers.
