With the current generation of consoles, companies like Microsoft and Sony have been putting extra emphasis on the new console’s capabilities as devices for entertainment outside of gaming, and especially in the context of TV and movies with original programming like PlayStation’s new series, Powers – luckily, it’s coming sooner than you might think.

In a new post on the PlayStation blog, Powers‘ creator Brian Michael Bendis wrote that production on the PlayStation-produced television series Powers has wrapped production on all ten episodes of the first season, and officially revealed the series’ release date. Powers will release its first three episodes on March 10th, 2015, with the series to debut a new episode every Tuesday each week following the series’ debut.

Powers was originally unveiled at last year’s E3 2014, with the first episode of the series being available to all PSN users, and the entire first season of the series being available to subscribers of PlayStation Plus.
