Please Knock on My Door is a game that aims to explore the intricacies of depression and loneliness. In this title, developer Levall Games asks that players adopt the daily life of an individual with mental illness, performing seemingly insignificant tasks that may or may not dramatically alter the main character’s state of mind. Throughout the game, the intent is for players to further understand what it is like to live with mental illness.

In the game’s newest trailer, the narrator explains the importance of bottling one’s emotions only to release the lid from time to time. The narrator warns that the consequences of keeping the lid closed for too long can be catastrophic.

Please Knock on My Door is the first title by Levall Games, the company started by Michael Levall, former creative lead and project lead at Dead Shark Triplepunch. Michael Levall previously worked on Epigenesis, a multiplayer sport FPS. His pledge with Levall Games is to create titles with a level of social commentary.

Please Knock on My Door will release on Steam in 2017.
