Plenty PS4 Announcements Coming From all Regions; AAA PS4 Games Coming to PS Plus in 2014 – Insiders

The PS4 is definitely having a great start, but some are complaining about the somewhat limited initial line-up of games. Today we hear something more on what we can expect from a couple industry insiders:

NeoGAF user DemonNyte, who is known to be a Sony employee, even if his real identity is well protected, mentioned mentioned that there’s plenty still to come in response to another user hoping that Sony wouldn’t rest on its laurels due to the stellar sales of the PS4:

No one is resting, plenty to come and new announcements this year.

He also specified that new announcements  should come from all regions (including Japan).

Currently? I think all regions will announce something ; )

Interestingly enough, he also mentioned something about the storm of fake leaks we saw yesterday:

What if all the other fake leaks tried to mask the real leak amongst them all?

Another insider, Ahsan “Thuway” Rasheed, that is normally quite reliable with what he gets from his sources, had a conversation with “a Sony guy high up in the food chain,” and he was given some interesting information:

I’m told “Good stuff is coming, be patient this is the typical Sony cycle.” I’ve also been told later this year PS Plus on PS4 will have AAA

Despite their track record (especially DemonNyte’s is spotless, given his position), we should definitely take what insiders say with a grain of salt until the announcements actually materialize from Sony, but combining this with what was leaked from Destination PlayStation, it definitely paints a promising scenario.
