on February 9, 2016 10:28 AM

As previously announced, 2016 is a big year for the Pokemon series and one of Nintendo’s most popular franchises as the series hits its 20th anniversary milestone, and following its big Super Bowl commercial and the impending re-release of the original Game Boy classics on 3DS, another surprise has released for those who grew up in the 1990s with Pokemon.

The Pokemon Company announced that the official Pokemon website is currently hosting a stream of 1998’s animated film Pokemon: The First Movie, which is available to view completely free as part of the “Pokemon 20” celebrations happening throughout the year for the series’ big milestone.

If you’re looking to relive your childhood or at least experience an awesome little bonus for the Pokemon 20 festivities, you can click here to watch the very first Pokemon movie while it’s available for free.
