Since it opened up Pokemania in July of this year, Pokemon GO quickly became a sensation for mobile game players during the summer, and now the popular mobile title will be arriving for those that own an Apple Watch.

During today's presentation at Apple's iPhone 7 event in California, developer Niantic Labs announced a new version of Pokemon GO that will be releasing for Apple Watch, with the new version to implement revised features and interaction specifically for the Apple Watch, including finding PokeStops and more.

Niantic Labs also shared a few more stats since the game first debuted in July, with the title having been downloaded "over 500 million times" and users having walked over 4.6 billion kilometers while using the title.

Pokemon GO is currently available on iOS and Android, and will release for Apple Watch by the end of 2016.
