One year after it took over the world, the mobile phenomenon Pokemon GO is celebrating its massive community with a variety of community events this summer, which will coincide with the upcoming festival in Chicago that will allow players around the world to join in and catch 'em all.

In a blog post from developer Niantic, the company provided a detailed look at upcoming global events to coincide with Pokemon GO Fest, which will be taking place on Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois. While players at the event in Chicago will be able to engage in a variety of fun activities surrounding the game, Niantic is also providing players around the world with a several challenges to complete during certain times and days.

With an accompanying infographic, Niantic detailed that three challenge windows will be available on July 22nd, 2017 for Pokemon GO players around the world that will tie in to the players at GO Fest. During GO Fest, players will be tasked with catching certain types of Pokemon to unlock perks and bonuses for the global players, while those around the world will attempt to catch as many Pokemon as possible to extend the duration of those bonuses for the players at Pokemon GO Fest.
