Pokemon Shoots Back Up in the UK Game Charts Following Pokemon GO Success

The No.1 spot in the UK game charts goes to LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the fourth week in a row, but interestingly, three 3DS Pokemon games also appears in the charts.

Pokemon Omega Ruby sits at No. 17, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire at 24th and Pokemon Y sits at 29th.

 GfK says that it predicts August sales of Pokemon related games and hardware to show a “remarkable spike”. Not at all surprising with the amount of hype surrounded Pokemon Go at the moment. 3DS hardware unit sales were also up by 27.5 per cent.

FIFA 16 sita at No.2 while Overwatch takes No3, GTA V  No.4 and Doom at No.5.

Surprisingly, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst fights back and climbs 20 places to the No.15 spot.
