A new Pokémon is now available via Mystery Gift in Pokémon Sun and Moon in the United States, Europe, and Australia. It is the shiny variant of the legendary guardian deity of Melemele Island: Tapu Koko.

While a normal Tapu Koko (pictured above) is mainly yellow and orange, its shiny version is black and orange. A shiny Tapu Koko actually can't be found in wild in Pokémon Sun and Moon, meaning that this is the only way to legitimately get one. Tapu Koko will be level 60 when players receive it, and will be holding an Electric Seed, which boosts its defense in Electric Terrain, which this Pokémon can create with its ability Electric Surge.

Tapu Koko will know Nature's Madness, Discharge, Agility, and Electro Ball when players receive him. Getting this shiny version of Tapu Koko is also simple. Players just have choose the Mystery Gift tab on the game's menu, and choose to receive a gift via the Internet. After that, a deliveryman holding the Tapu Koko will appear inside all of the game's Pokémon Centers, so players can pick it up at any time they want.

Pokémon Sun and Moon is currently available on the Nintendo 3DS, but new versions of the games, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, will be releasing simultaneously on November 17.
