Pokemon X and Y Catching Them All on The 3DS

on January 8, 2013 9:06 AM

Nintendo held a special Pokemon direct in Japan announcing the latest in the Pokemon series with Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.

Those trainers waiting for 3D Pokemon battles will have to wait no longer because Pokemon X and Y bring the whole world into 3D. The game features three new starters that include Fennekin a fire type, Froakie a water type, and Chespin representing grass types. Two mysterious Pokemon are also shown, which may possibly be the legendary Pokemon in these games.

The games are expected to hit stores worldwide on October of this year. It may only be a year after the release of the excellent Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 but well worth it with the leap to full 3D.

Check out the video and gallery below for a peak at these games to hold trainers over until October.
