Pokken Tournament Announced For Arcades

During the latest Pokemon livestream event, The Pokemon Company has announced Pokken Tournament, a new Pokemon fighting game for arcades. The game is being developed under the supervision of Tekken Project series director Katsuhiro Harada and Soulcalibur series main programmer Masaaki Hoshino.

There’s no confirmation on a Wii U version, but Pokken Tournament will hit Japanese arcades sometime in 2015.

A teaser trailer showing Lucario and Machamp battling in a Tekken-style arena was also released. Check it out below:
